History

Our activities started back in 1962 when Sabri Sabongui and our office became Steyr Waelzlager's first official Commercial Agent and Representative in Egypt. Six years later and in 1968 our company expanded its business activities to add three more manufacturers and brands to its scope of representations to Egypt and became the Commercial Agent and Representative of INA Waelzlager – Germany and ZKL-ZVL's – former Czechoslovakia both bearings manufacturers and PCD – Petrochemie Danubia GmbH a well-known Austrian producer of PVC and other Polyolefine products such as HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE and PP. With an industrial vision and focus in mind our office continued to represent various private and corporate European, American and Japanese companies by selling and supplying their products to the Egyptian market whilst also offering the required technical support. Over the last five decades our activities and dealings remained focused around serving both the public and private sectors covering all the segments and different types of industries in the territory of Egypt.

Beginning of the 1970's and as a reflection on the growing market and consequently the open door policy in Egypt we expanded our core bearings business and entered into new segments covering and selling plastic raw materials, their additives and supplements; extrusion lines, blow molding and injection molding machines and tools; cutting and welding equipment; air separation plants and their cryogenic storage tanks and pumps. The companies we worked with and represented were among the leaders in their industries.

With the changing global economies and market consolidations starting in the 90's some of these companies either ceased to exist or were acquired by others, nevertheless bearings remained our core business and specialization. In 1994 we became the official Commercial Agent and Representative of NSK – Japan to Egypt, a world leading Japanese Bearing manufacturer. Later on in 1996 the RHP – UK brand was added to our scope of supplies as a wider part of the NSK global business.

Since 2008 and due to the changing requirements and conditions in the Egyptian local market and the growing local tender business, we actively enlarged the scope of our services and established a local sales and distribution department and became also an authorized distributor servicing the local requirements and tenders directly. By doing so we managed to better serve the needs of the local businesses and their requirements, by offering prompt local stock and door to door delivery, thus shortening the delivery times and reducing the inventory and storage costs of our clients and end-users.

Today, we continue to build on the rich track history and expertise we have gained, the know-how and the deep market knowledge and understanding of the Egyptian market we possess and aim to retain and grow the wide and satisfied client base we managed to establish, retain and develop over these decades.
